About SecliaConnect

Built with a clinic.
Built for independents.

SecliaConnect is a white-label telehealth platform — branded patient booking, video visits, and HIPAA-scope infrastructure on your clinic’s own subdomain. We started with one real practice in Waller, Texas, and we’re building outward from there.

Dr. Beatrice Nkwelle

Medical Director · Waller Urgent Care · Pilot clinic

Dr. B runs an independent urgent care outside Houston that gets booked by word of mouth. She needed a way to open telehealth to her patients without renting a hospital-system platform she didn’t need. We built SecliaConnect together — her clinic went live first, on waller.secliaconnect.com.

7Z Web Developers

Software studio · Waller, TX · Platform team

7Z is a small studio that builds software alongside its first customer, then opens the product to the rest of the market. We build one flow end-to-end and verify it with a real clinic before we widen the aperture. SecliaConnect is our platform product spun out of that work with Dr. B.

Headquartered in Waller, TX

How we build

Four principles, no exceptions.

Built with a clinic, not for one

We shipped to Waller Urgent Care first. Every feature was pressure-tested on a live patient workflow before it ever reached the marketing page. If Dr. B wouldn't use it in her own practice, it doesn't ship.

HIPAA-conscious by design

Tenant isolation at the row level. Audit logs on every sensitive write. BAAs on every vendor that touches PHI. No application logs with patient data, ever. We grep before we ship.

Independent-practice scope

We're not building for hospital systems. Insurance billing, EHR integrations, enterprise procurement — not in our MVP. Self-pay telehealth for single-clinic operators, done well, is the lane.

Quality bar is non-negotiable

Apple, Stripe, Linear. That's the reference. No template-grade shadcn screens, no generic stock photography, no AI-slop copy. Every surface gets intentional design before it ships.

The build

From one clinic to the next.

  1. Early 2026

    The problem

Dr. Beatrice Nkwelle, Medical Director of Waller Urgent Care in Waller, TX, needed a telehealth surface that felt like her clinic — not a Zoom link pasted into a confirmation email.

  2. April 2026

    Co-design

Scoped the platform alongside Dr. B: patient booking on her subdomain, HIPAA-scope auth, branded everything, self-pay via Stripe. Three-week staged build.

  3. Week 1

    Foundation + wizard

Multi-tenant Prisma schema with tenant-scope middleware, Supabase auth with TOTP MFA, clinic-onboarding wizard with live dashboard preview. Shipped to pilot.

  4. Week 2

    Patient flow live

Booking end-to-end: service picker, slot picker, reserve form, confirmation, HMAC-gated cancel. Signed cancel tokens, race-safe unique constraint, Resend email wiring. Verified with real patient flow.

  5. Week 3 (target)

    Provider + staged launch

Video visits, SOAP notes, admin dashboard, Stripe self-pay, HIPAA hardening, Railway production migration. Staged demo Dr. B can show stakeholders.

  6. After pilot

    Other clinics

Once Waller's real-patient traffic is stable, we open onboarding for other independent practices, NP-led clinics, and urgent care operators. Founding-clinic pricing for the first ten.

The stack

Serious infrastructure, honestly named.

Every vendor that touches PHI signs a Business Associate Agreement before we route data through them. Here’s the full list — no hidden subprocessors, no black boxes.
